Guru Pay is a Lithuania-based electronic money institution providing payment services to private and business customers across Europe and beyond. Licensed and regulated by the Bank of Lithuania, the company offers dedicated IBAN accounts, SEPA and SWIFT transfers, foreign exchange services, and flexible payment solutions.

The opportunity:

Guru Pay is looking for a hands-on DevOps / Platform Engineer to help maintain and improve the infrastructure and delivery platform used by its engineering teams.


You will work with AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, security, and operational troubleshooting. Your focus will be on helping engineering teams deliver safely and keeping the systems behind financial products stable, secure, and visible.

What you’ll do:

  • Maintain and improve AWS infrastructure across multiple environments.
  • Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Operate Kubernetes workloads and supporting AWS services.
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines and reusable deployment templates.
  • Maintain monitoring, alerting, logging, and distributed tracing.
  • Support incident response, backups, restores, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Manage networking, IAM, secrets, certificates, and platform access.
  • Help improve system reliability, security, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Document platform architecture and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with developers, Security, IT Operations, and other stakeholders.

What Guru Pay expects from you:

  • Practical experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD.
  • Experience working with production infrastructure, including existing environments.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, logging, or tracing solutions.
  • Automation experience with Bash and a language such as Python or Go.
  • A structured approach to troubleshooting and incidents.
  • Clear communication and a collaborative mindset.
  • Fluency in English.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in fintech, banking, an EMI, or another regulated environment.
  • Experience working with systems that handle financial or sensitive data.
  • Knowledge of RDS operations, restores, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, or self-hosted tools.
